Founded in 1988, Altam has Designed, Manufactured and shipped thousands of pressure vessels to destinations all over the world.

Built to your specifications, every Altam Pressure Vessel is designed and fabricated in accordance with ASME (Section VIII, Division 1) and receives thorough inspection by both our In-house Quality Control and an authorized California State inspector.

If you have a 3rd Party inspection agency we are here to assist and work hand in hand to provide all the necessary documentation and reports.

Altam Process

  1. Customer Request for Quote, Provide Drawings or Specification of the vessel Request for Quote. 
  2. Altam review for acceptance under latest code editions and material specification (Grade, and Thickness etc). 
  3. Acceptance of latest code editions and material specification to Customer.
  4. Altam process for quote.
  5. Once quote is accepted by customer. AI review of release to production, review of drawings/calculations/WPS/PQR/WPQ etc, and order of materials is processed. 
  6. Material QC upon arrival, and commence fabricaton.
  7. Hold point for AI Inpsection of internal welds. 
  8. Complete job with Hydro at 1.3x of MAWP. Final Review of AI inspection and sign off. EDT Registration of National Board same day as Witness of Hydro.  
  9. Data packet and final invoice sent to customer: via email: U-1A, MTR (Material Test Report), Drawing.
